Makes me sad that Hoodie Weather is a wheel song.

  2. I’m pretty sure every time I’ve seen them play it, Dan has introduced with something along the lines of “we always get requests for this then crowd looks bored when we play it, so you better go hard for it this time.”

Looking at Friday set I think that definitely won compared to Thursday. Shout out to the crowd bullying them into throwing the wheel choice out and playing Fruit Punched instead.

Yea I’m happy I went Friday. They did a good job of switching the regular songs for the first half of the set too for those that went both nights. I was a bit surprised they played Geraldine and Threadbare both nights. Glad they swapped Keystone/Fruit launch for Threadbare. People were not into Raining in Kyoto and Orange Grove but those are two of my favorites. Soupy’s voice seemed pretty shot by the last few songs. He mentioned he had surgery 10 days ago. So that pretty nuts to do 50 songs in two days.

Crowd was pretty rough but I wound up dead center. There were a few people who clearly had too much to drink or were using. They were like Weekend at Bernie’s and just kept falling over. We couldn’t keep up with crowd surfers. Let me say crowd surfing dudes in their 40s is tough. Unfortunately one girl fell pretty hard a bit over from me and they stopped Funeral. Hope she’s okay. Band looked shaken when it happened.

It sounds like we may see a 20 year tour next year. I’m wondering if will be a “eras” tour with a few from each album. Though he said no Fruit Punch for 10 years. I think that’s fair.

  7. The video I saw of "Fruit Punched" on the FB group looked like the stillest TWY crowd I've ever seen — might have been the angle though.

I love that they keep bringing back Mike Kelly for the GSOI songs, but the only thing from that album I ever actually want to hear live again is "When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong."

Yea the pit and up front was having a good time but otherwise I’m sure it was dead. Doing those outside of Philly would be a mistake.

Upsides/Suburbia/TGG songs always go off best. Even Teenage Parents seemed to get. A good reaction.

Had to spend way above what I wanted to try and catch the Neck Deep tour in Glasgow, despite not really being into them - all for TWY and One Step Closer. Scotland is now under a red alert for weather, I hope everyone is ok, and well, I'm wondering if my flight doesn't get cancelled (same for the shows, I'm mostly flying in for The Early November tomorrow), what a fucking failure with the timing, fingers crossed it's safe out there and it all pan sout somehow

Not sure what it's looking like that far North, but if it's helps I'm in the North East England (30 miles from Newcastle ish) and our weather warning is due to end around 9pm tonight. So you might be okay if your flight and travel plans are after that kinda time.

Personally it's still wild to me TWY are supporting Neck Deep and it's not the other way round.

I've missed them in the UK on this tour because I think Neck Deep are just bad. Hopefully they'll have a headline tour booked soon.

I like the Keswick. Plus it's a much shorter drive than any venue in the city proper for me.
