I was at that show, all the way at the back with my wife, who was six months pregnant at the time and the baby was kicking like crazy because it was so loud in there. That's her favorite TWY song too. Man, I'm so happy they released this.

 

fucking song still gives me chills and i don't even have kids lol

 

Can't wait to watch this later and probably cry a ton. Also don't have kids and that song still ruins me.

Easily my favorite TWY song.

 

My bet is this is a new song for NCTH's anniversary, just like they did for the past three albums. But happy to be proven wrong!

This and a Sister Cities remix/master are all I want in this life.

 

As much as I would love new music from the band I’ll be so sad if they skip Australia on this album cycle. They haven’t done a proper tour here since NCTH, just some festival appearances.

That said I would love a NCTH remaster, Cigarettes & Saints is still one of the best TWY songs

 

Watching that video, I'm realizing now that we've somehow never gotten an official live album from these guys? Surely they've got that up their sleeve to drop at some point? I reckon the live Burst and Decay vinyl counts a bit, but I mean more like a full headlining full band set.

 

could be wrong but I feel like years ago they recorded a live album and it just didn't sound right and they scrapped it?

 

They had a drone flying around and filming the 10 year shows in Philly where they did the three nights of Upsides, Suburbia, and TGG at union transfer but nothing ever became of that footage/recordings.

Surely they're gonna drop some of those lockdown livestream shows at some point, right? I wonder if they might be tied up in rights with the platforms they were on or something (complete speculation)

 

This so much - and two of those festivals were cancelled too! I saw them within a year of NCTH dropping, and nothing since, but they seem keen to come back.

 

I’m sure a lot of people have copies of these… I wonder if they have been pulling them from YouTube if posted

 

I am excited to see this band play with the menzingers in less than two weeks

not enough talk about the wonder years playing with the menzingers, IMO
