Love soupy’s lyrics. And he’s had 3+ loooooong years from the Aaron west record and 4 from the last wonder years. Excited is an understatement. This band is amazing.
Has it seriously been that long? Wow! Feels like that AW album came out a couple years ago. That's crazy.
My first draft had “2+” and then looked up that it was 2019. To think, it predates the pandemic which has felt like forever. Just crazy. I’m glad we got the two songs for the upsides 10 year.
If its been a while since you've listened to NCTH, I'd say give it some fresh attention. Every year it seems to climb my list a little higher.
I loved NCTH. Sister Cities was the first album from them that, overall, I had a difficult time connecting with. That’s a “me issue” though and I’m really excited for a new album from them. I loved Out On My Feet and Brakeless. It’ll be really interesting to hear what direction they’ve chosen to go in, but no matter what, I’m glad they’re still putting music out that they find fulfilling
