I have no idea how to rank the songs on SC but I can confirm Thursday's best songs are:
    1 Autumn Leaves Revisited
    2 Jet Black New Year
3 Understanding in a Car Crash
    4 You Were the Cancer
    5 Running from the Rain

    TWY/Thursday tour would be everything

Into The Blinding Light is my favorite Thursday song I think.

Whenever I listen to Ghosts I'm convinced that it should be the band's biggest song. It's so powerful.

Anyone listened to the session yet? What songs did they play? Wish they'd put the video up like they sometimes do for Live Lounge/ Maida Vale sessions.

Just threw on NCTH for the first time since SC came out. Something personal for me, but I still get chills every time Brothers & transitions into Cardinals. The rest of the record is still phenomenal for me. SC just doesn't have the same effect yet.

With that all being said, I am super pumped to do the VIP thing next Sunday and hear some new songs live.

Been binging their discog lately. Absolutely obsessed with Suburbia onwards. It feels so good to love this band again.

The Upsides is a good album. Get off your high horses. Those hooks are undeniable.

the upsides is pretty unlistenable at this point. the vocals are bad, the music is so uninteresting, and the lyrics aren't great

If The Upsides came out today I wouldn't like it but it was a huge album in my life and super important in the genre

I just listened to it yesterday and it still rules as does WBPF

Upsides is really good for pop-punk album that does little in the way of experimentation.

I still enjoy The Upsides. Definitely don't listen to it as much as Suburbia and onwards, but it's still a good album.

Upsides is important I think, you can't just write it off considering how influential it was. It's probably my least favourite TWY album with NCTH but at the time I think what it said was needed. Musically it was pretty standard but it's fun. I don't think it's bad. The vocals are —forgive me— adorable. They're so ridiculously squeaky I could die. It's got a certain charm. I don't listen to it often but when I do it's a good time.

I didn't really properly listen to this until last night (I have no idea really why it took me so long other than that I was on vacation when it released), but yea this is fantastic and a very exciting direction for the band. I can't wait to dive in more.

I didn't grow up with The Upsides, I grew up with TGG. I think that's a big part on why I can't get into it.
