i like his reasoning for the rankings. i was expecting SS to be on the list but i too forget that GSOI is something this band wrote lol. im surprised he put NCTH as number 2 but i love that album so much i cant argue with him there.

for me i think id rank them in reverse chronological order, i legitimately believe they get better with every album.

So Kyoto and Ghosts of Right Now are pretty easily my two favorite songs on this and I keep seeing them get compared to Thursday. Which means I guess it’s time for me to finally listen to Thursday. What album do I start with?

If you’re anything like me and enjoy seeing how a band progresses then start with Full Collapse but like Zac said WATT and even CE are probably closer to what TWY are doing on this album and some past songs.

Title track is my least favourite but it's still a very good rock song. I don't think it's reflective of the rest of the album, which is why I think it was a bad first single to me. Definitely more of a filler track.

 

Admittedly tho the end of Kyoto reminds me of the end of fast to the end

 

I know I’ve tried listening to Full Collapse a few times before and it’s never grabbed me. Think I’ll give WATT a go then, thanks guys!

 

i'm not a big FC or WATT fan, but city by the light divided and no devolucion are masterpieces

WATT is the Thursday album I come back to the most

 

Haha man, when the album first came out I almost couldn't listen to Kyoto without expecting the "FASTER, FASTER!!" part of the bridge of that song. I'm glad someone else hears it.

 

No Devolucion is the best Thursday album, though You Were The Cancer on CE is a total ripper

 

CE is my fav Thursday but ACBTLD is their best album imo.

 

No Devolucion is honestly the only Thursday album that doesn't bore me, and even it feels too long sometimes. They just don't quite do it for me (I do hear the influence especially on Kyoto though).

 

I'd love a Thursday/TWY tour
