this track is great, y'all i'm a new fan, been listening to the greatest generation for like 3 weeks straight and havent heard anything else they've done except this and i'm stoked
I'm so jealous, their back catalog is amazing, I love every single album since The Upsides and highly recommend digging into all of them if you have a chance. They're had a wonderful progression over the course of their career and really click with me like no other band does. However - have the band mentioned why this album is having such a long run-up and so many singles released? I've enjoyed every track so far but I feel like I've been waiting on this album to come out for eternity and we've got almost half of it now.
Every band does this now. Unless I’m mistaken, it’s all bc of streaming (# of plays, playlist placement, new song drop notifications, etc.). Albums are kind of antiquated now - the trend is to drop singles on on a monthly basis, if possible (of course most bands on the big labels still drop albums - but the lead up to the album cycle seems to be emulating this trend)
