The book is only special because of the writing. It's a really good read. Agreed that the movie looks terrible.

 

This movie is so over the top in the worst way.

 

Joe Wright is a truly bad director.

 

I've seriously hated every movie of his I've seen.

This was fucking miserable. Twists were dumb. Acting was way over the top. So much wasted talent.

i love dunkirk. it's probably my second favorite nolan. what I said is still true.

 

This was a massive letdown, so much really bad green screen.
