How do you decorate your space?

I want to see everyone's favorite ornaments, the older and jankier the better.

 

My grandma made these ornaments out of dough, probably some time in the 70s.

This year will be weird because this will be the very first time my wife and I get to do our own Christmas. We already did Christmases with my family a couple weekends ago (long story), so we just get to hang out at home and do our own thing. We’re excited. We’ve been wanting to do this for so long.

Been planning our dinner all week haha

 

Gift haul for Christmas eve at my parent's. My parents always overdue it even though I tell them I am a grown man you don't have to get me so much. I am an only child so they still spoil me regardless.

My Christmas was awesome. Just got to chill, eat great food, watch Christmas movies/specials and play games all day. Hope everyone else has/had a wonderful holiday!

 

Anyone else plan to leave their trees up for like.. another couple of weeks just for the comforting vibes of Christmas lights??

Hell, I'm watching A Charlie Brown Christmas again, rn

 

I usually don't like to, but we're having my fiancé's family over for Christmas in 2 weeks so we're going to.

 

Growing up, my mom would always intentionally leave our tree and decorations up until January 6th (the Epiphany, aka: the 12th day of Christmas). So imo, I think it’s cool to have everything up a week or two after Christmas.

Personally, I really wish more people would do that. I get really bummed when people take their decorations and stuff down right after Christmas. The week after Christmas is still part of the holiday season!
