Yeah finally watched and all so so good lmao.

 

Been thinking a bit about Enlightened while we’re in the Mike white rules the world era of tv. Do you think white lotus has pushed people to that show? It’s not perfect but I think the combo of show quality and timing put it in pretty elite company in my mind. Hit me at the exact perfect time. In my opinion the best ever example of exploring other/non main characters’ perspectives - all three of those episodes are in tv hall of fame for me. Also one of the only shows I’ve ever rewatched as an adult.

I’m not even sure White Lotus isn’t better overall, but Enlightened is like forever tier 1 in my mind.
