I'm really enjoying the slow burn of this season -- even though I do think plenty happens.

Great episode. I love how ominous this show feels each season as each episode goes on. Very Twin Peaks, just without the supernatural.

I felt so bad for Gaitok when he was getting bullied by those dudes.

Goggins is still the king so far.

Can't wait for inevitable implosions on everything that's playing out. Fuck yeah.

 

Anyone else think the dad is going to somehow pin his legal troubles onto his son?

enjoyed this episode. Rick stoned and releasing the snakes was incredible

The snake scene made me look this up....apparently anywhere from 80,000-150,000 people in the world die every year from snake bites.

I don't know why but I expected it to be lower.

 

that's 0.001% that's less than the number of people that get struck by lightning each year

 

keep in mind this was just deaths…I’m guessing a lot more people get bit too. I don’t know why but it just seemed like a lot to me haha

 

The yacht ride through the islands really makes me sad my much more budget friendly trip to those islands was canceled.

 

have Jaclyn, Kate, and Laurie never seen a Taken movie lol

I understand the character is a boomer but using the R word on a mainstream show in 2025 is a choice. A brave character choice, and it fits. Wonder if there'll be backlash.

Great ep. Gaitok is dropping the ball a bit, and Goggins is still the GOAT.
