it’s more dumb that jack steals portia’s phone but leaves his own available for her to take it than anything portia does
if someone who is maybe intoxicated kidnaps me and then gaslights me into thinking he doesn't have my phone I'm not acting smart I'm dying
I have come around to thinking this was intentional. Who on earth doesn’t take their phone when they go shit
My official prediction for season 3 location is either Bali or Sri Lanka. I know Maldives were mentioned but White implied that season 3 would be about "eastern philosophy" which I am assuming means a Buddhist or Hindu area.
I believe he did this on purpose as well. Also, his job probably wasn't to drop her off at the airport. He was likely supposed to kill her.
I know the binge vs week to week discussion has been talked about a billion times, but THIS season is what makes the week-to-week format so enthralling. I really enjoyed reading into so many different theories and predictions over the course of the past 6 weeks. This is the first time in a long time that I spent a good portion of each week seeking out different articles to read about this show.
Agree. Especially with so few episodes. The internet would have been all OMG RIP TANYA QUEEN before the east coast woke up and totally ruined the excitement and fun.
Binging for me though with my kid and job is one episode per day if I’m lucky lol I’m pretty sure I can process an episode a day and I don’t really care about online theories and overanalyzing everything
Yeah, don't get me wrong, I would have binged this in like, 2 sittings if they allowed. I'm just saying, I would have missed out on all the discussions/predictions that I found fascinating for this season.
The ending with Tanya was definitely a little goofy, but overall this finale and season was great. Daphne ended up being the most interesting character.
This is the same series where a hotel manager was stabbed to death after shitting in someone's suitcase. It's a goofy show.
I didn’t say it was bad, just goofy. I found last season’s death to be a little more grounded. But I can’t say I didn’t enjoy Tanya cry shooting her way out only to have one of the most avoidable deaths possible. So yea, goofy, but her character was very dumb this season, so it was at least in line with that.
Mike White uses the actual word "goofy" talking about that scene in that interview above, so it's clearly intentional
