gotta goninto season 3 knowing not to theorize bc it’s always simpler and better than the dumb crackpot guesses haha my hope is cam and daphne for following next season but it’d be funny if lucia takes albie’s money for a vaycay lol
Based on what Mike White said on the post show about the Greg plot not maybe being over I think it'll be Portia and Albie.
they were like naked and stuff like that he was kind of fucking his uncle we gotta get the fuck outta here I know a lot of hot girls who are gay so you fuck your uncle do you know these gays these gays they're trying to murder me our Achilles heel is an a Achilles cock what about Didier and what's his face how is Portia gonna get on an international flight without a passport
Harper looked like she was gonna say that if something happened with Cameron it was non consensual, coupled with how he downplays sexual harassment and people abusing their assistants he's definitely done some shit that he deserved that fight with Ethan
Great finale, a little disappointing how much they beat it over the head what was going to happen in the boat storyline but I really enjoyed the couples resolution.
What an episode. Glued the entire time. I haven't been that excited for a finale in a while. I think they delivered. At first I was like "ugh, just the gay, probably mafia guys that's lame", but Tanya dying in a very Tanya way worked. Liked the delivery of "I got played" from the son. One of those, deep down he knew, but eh. No complaints. Great season.
Good finale. I thought Coolidge was hilarious and great in this ep. Also liked how Daphne ended up being one of the most interesting characters. Wouldn't have guessed that at the beginning of the season.
I loved We Own This City, but I think this just overtook it as best limited/anthology series of 2022 for me. This is for sure winning the Limited Series Golden Globe in a few months.
i don’t think harper was going to say it was non-consensual with cam, i think she was telling the truth at the end. the issue is ethan still didn’t believe her and it led to him extremely likely having sex with daphne because of it, because men are idiots but now they’re just gonna be rich and have and open marriage and have no problems bc that’s tv baby
Tanya wobbling out of her room under extreme duress with her eyes half closed and managing to shoot and kill these connected guys sure was impressive haha
That was p much fan service there but I loved it lol. I was with 3 other people and they were all hooting and hollering
Loved both seasons, but for next year I'm pulling for a real left turn with White Lotus: Wisconsin Dells.
My mom was disappointed bc she said Tanya was her favorite character. My brother was also annoyed and said it was a polarizing decision and it's going to divide audiences. My thought is that I was emotionally prepared for any of the characters to die. I felt the main thematic purpose of this season was how people exploit sex--gender roles in relationships, betrayal, the lengths some couples go to achieve an illusion of harmony--and Tanya seemed to me as the perfect encapsulation of all those themes.
it would be fun to see a stateside white lotus but i think that’s kinda missing the point of the show. not that there aren’t class differences in the states, obviously, but working internationally kinda limits it to a certain level of person that it seems like mike is on a mission to take down
Who was (were?) the other bodies found in the water, though? Didn't they say there were multiple guests found in the water in the first episode?
Plus at least one guy jumped off the yacht, who knows if he made it out alive. And they never show what happened to the captain, but also likely he may have jumped.
