the husband was totally fine season 1. there is no reason after that season to be annoyed they're married. however, the writing for this episode kinda did a 180 on him, so its clear he sucks now, but it makes sense why they got married based on s1.
Thought this was a fantastic premier. It’s hard to compare because I watched s1 pretty recently in just a couple sittings, but I’m more interested in seeing what comes next than I remember being after the first episode of season 1. It is kind of funny how much mirrors season 1 almost exactly - I feel like that things are obviously gonna deviate sooner than later.
Solid first episode. I don’t know if I’m as drawn in as I was after one episode for seasons one, but lots of hateable characters to root against haha.
I feel like we’re heading somewhere dark with them. Like, Albie can’t have inherited NONE of the toxic masculinity of his family.
I couldn't tell if Albie was talking about nice guys in an incel way but that was the impression I got
Judging by his comments about girls not liking "nice guys" I could see the show going in that direction with him.
Finally got around to starting Dark recently and I don’t think my brain has the capacity for an alternate show right now haha. Excited to catch up on this eventually though. Wasn’t as crazy about the first season as most but the cast here is bananas. Really awesome come up for Haley Lu Richardson
Yeah i feel like they're going dark with Albie. Definitely got weird vibes this episodes. Portia is the only character i am rooting for.
Tanya swallowing the bug and then eating the pasta in such a strange way...hilarious The Peppa Pig line killed me too
I definitely don’t like it as much as season 1 but it’s good so far. Really looking forward to seeing where it goes. I’m disliking everyone for different reasons it’s fun
can equally relate to Harper trying to be cool and nice so people will like her and Portia having an existential crisis on vacation
I know i should probably dislike Albie, but i just feel bad for him. Guy doesn't seemed ill intentioned so far, just completely lost.
Good ep. I liked that we learned more about Daphne. It seems like Harper is quietly warming up to her, or at least understands her more.
Any guesses on who's floating in the water in the first scene? I think Albie might murder Portia and pool guy when he finds out about what's inevitably going to happen between them
