That's what I've always heard, which is why I've always given up! I love the other so much though that I need to force my way through it and this time I'm doing it!
Nearly done with book 10... definitely the roughest to get through. Seems to be all setup. Can't wait to get to the rest
I started a new character in Skyrim and when I was thinking of a name, I figured, hey why not Moiraine? Then I thought, should I look up the spelling? I responded with a Cadsuane-inspired Phaw! I've read her name enough times to know how to spell it! Anyway I spelled it wrong. Book 13 is excellent so far. I worry that it's setting up Perrin's death which is making this anniversary scene with Faile and him heartbreaking. And I'm dying to know what's in Moiraine's letter to Mat
Galad has really grown on me. Morgase finally revealed Talk about a loooooong time coming. Excellent scene.
I'm just nearing the end of eleven. I loved how this book started off with Galad Killing the whitecloak guy whose raped Morgase
I didn't necessarily feel the slump around book 10 but I absolutely see where people are coming from and understand the problems. The good news is you are going to absolutely adore Sanderson's books, there isn't one wasted chapter, almost always a pov with main characters that advances the story, it's very much worth getting over the slump
Mesaana Vs Egwene, Slayer Vs Perrin, and Gawyn Vs Bloodknives is right up there with my favorite moments. Holy shit, what an unstoppable, 100 pages of pure joy that was...I need a cigarette. Also, I hate that I've now had to deal with Hopper dying twice
I've been slow walking my way through book 3. I think when I finish this one, I'm gonna step away and start book 2 of Dark Tower. And then just kinda alternate.
Working my way through book 1. I went into this not knowing much about the plot so I'm excited to see where the hell this thing goes. 14 books is crazy. I think I'm going to end up listening to part of it on audiobook and reading some of them as well. I've got a lot of other books I want to read so this could easily take me over a year to finish.
Damn, it had been so long since Taim was mentioned I was beginning to think he died and I somehow missed it. Pretty sure this is Sanderson's first time mentioning him.
Well now I feel like an asshole for not trusting Noal. The Tower of Ghenjei was incredible. Somehow every scene keeps getting better than the last.
Fucking hell I have no words for how much I loved book 13. Just perfect. Super happy about the obvious thing I should be happy about. I did wish there was more Seanchan, as I've said 100 times they're my favorite culture. Everything seems to be in place for the finale except them.
