I think I've figured something out about Demandred that I would not have figured out if it weren't for the app and me having to constantly refer back to remember who's who among the Forsaken. I feel like 90% sure I know his assumed identity

If I were just reading the books with no reference point there's no way I'd put it together though

 

If you’re assuming Taim welcome to the part where Robert Jordan was so mad readers figured it out, he changed it. It’s my only real complaint with the story, haha.

Once you’re done with the series, look up Taimandred, I think it’s called.

 

I prefer how the story ends up anyways. I like how Taim and Logain both have these false dragon histories before Rand comes around, and they take different paths. It also makes sense for someone in this age to become a forsaken.

 

I just finished WH (yes these books take me a month each to finish) and damn that was a banger. As always potentially huge world changing events but with a lot of questions left unanswered.

Apparently Osan'gar is dead again, without me figuring out who he was in the first place? Though I guess he could easily be back again next book. It seems like we last see Aran'gar (who was Lanfear all along) in the middle of battle with Alivia, but in the aftermath of the battle, no mention of where she went. And Elza is a Darkfriend so I need to remember that now too
I am finding myself wishing I had been taking notes on every character as I went along. I've never done that before but with these books it seems like every named side character comes back to be important later and my memory is not that good

my mistake, I meant Cyndane, not Aran'gar. This is why I say there are too many Forsaken lol

I'm pretty sure Cyndane is Lanfear. Asan'gar I just know is one of the dead male Forsaken

 

That is correct, haha.

 

Some more WH ending thoughts:
- Mat's escape from Ebou Dar seems to have succeeded EXCEPT that I don't think Thom, Joline, and Setelle Anan were with Mat and the others when we left them, and I don't think we actually see them leave the city. So this is either about to go very wrong, or we will just see them somewhere else in the next book

- Things are also on the verge of getting very violent in Ebou Dar, with the freed damane about to wreak havoc, and Beslyn ready to incite a rebellion.

- Besides Rand cleaning the Dark One's taint (heh) everyone else is left on a bit of a cliffhanger. Elayne has armies headed her way, Perrin is leading his own people against the Shaido, Mat is questionable. Egwene is not even in this book except as a Tel'aran'rhiod cameo, and last we saw her, she was getting ready to take Tar Valon

- I liked that the finale had all the Forsaken in one place and they seemingly accomplished nothing. Great stuff from those guys
