I'm sure it's after 10 that they pick right up and then the last 3 are incredible. Sanderson takes over and it's a fresh take on this. If you aren't enjoying them then take a break and come back.
I took a big long break and returned. I am almost halfway through Crossroads of Twilight. The break helped in some ways and hurt in others. It helped because I really wasn’t sure I liked this anymore and I needed to step back. It hurt because I forgot who the fuck everyone was and what the hell they were doing. I’ll probably try to see this through from this point. I honestly have no idea if I like this series, but I’ll be damned if I’m not incredibly impressed by the world building. I thought Sanderson’s books felt “lived in” but this is just next level. It’s all so matter of fact.
Crossroads of Twilight is really good. I think I’m gonna do New Spring next. Is that a good place for it?
Glad to hear you're enjoying Jordan's later books. I think I waited until I was done with all of the Jordan books before New Spring but I'm sure you'll be fine.
Ok cool. And I’m convinced I like this book so much more than the others because Nynaeve has been largely absent. It’s been such a godsend. Edit: Also, Perrin keeps ignoring my shouted advice to leave Faile to the Shaido. You can do better, Perrin!
Love Faile. And Tuon who is one of my favorite characters Perrin and Mat weren’t really favorites of mine until Sanderson.
Amazon Orders Adaptation Of Fantasy Drama ‘The Wheel Of Time’ To Series Amazon picked up the rights to the series a while ago but now the show's been officially picked up. The summary they give: The story follows Moiraine, a member of the shadowy and influential all-female organization called the ‘Aes Sedai’ as she embarks on a dangerous, world-spanning journey with five young men and women. Moiraine believes one of them might be the reincarnation of an incredibly powerful individual, whom prophecies say will either save humanity or destroy it.
I get the story following Moiraine but also don't get the story following her. Are they starting with New Spring?
If they don’t start with Rand and Tam walking down the road after the credit sequence (and Dragonmount creation cold open), what even is the point.
Yeah that's a great scene. I'd dig more of a focus on Morraine, besides Nynaeve most of the kids didn't grab me immediately.
I was glad that Jordan went out on a high note. Sanderson's trilogy is perfect, I expect you'll love it.
Looks like I started this journey at the end of January 2017. Just finished The Great Storm. I’m so darn close now! If only past Scott knew what he was getting himself into.
