The only songs on bbtm that can compete with the best songs on Starboy are "Can't Feel My Face", "Prisoner", "The Hills" and "Tell Your Friends". I would easily take any song on Starboy over any other song on bbtm though, it's just so much more consistent despite being 4 tracks longer.
Everyone pretty much agrees that House of Balloons is his best project ever, and while Thursday gets a bad rap on here for some reason, it's my personal favorite. All three tapes are really good
Yeah, Thursday is really great too. "The Zone", "Rolling Stone", "Lonely Star" and the title track are all up there with his best songs.

I genuinely cannot understand the opinion that BBTM is better than this, or any album he's made, or any album ever made by anyone, or any recorded audio in the history of time. I guess what I'm saying is that BBTM is awful, but that's one man's opinion.
I really and truly don't get the rampant KL hate. I didn't love it in the immediate wake of Trilogy for obvious reasons but looking back at it through the lens of his post BBTM career it's pretty good imo. Really enjoy the production and it has some good songs in Professional, Adaptation, LITS, Wanderlust, and Pretty. And though lyrics have never been his strongsuit I'd argue there's a lot more going on on that album than either of his last two.
Yeah Kiss Land was not very good at all when it came out but that's because it followedbup Trilogy in my opinion. I revisited it early this year and it's actually pretty good in my mind. Take out Live For and it's really good
This is exactly what I did. It's easily my least favorite of his projects, but I think it's still solid. I've always loved Tears in the Rain and thought it was a great closer.
