Starboy, Rockin', Love to Lay and A Lonely Night are my favorites so far

 

Love to Lay is so timeless man... that and A Lonely Night are classic Max Martin.

"i feel it coming" is the best track on here. works so fucking well as a closer.

 

His interview with Zane Lowe was really good.
Kind of confirmed BBTM being a transitional album as he put it to "grab everyone's attention and then show them what I do (on Starboy)"
Talked about being proud of Kissland and wanting to do a sequel.
Touched on drug use, performance anxiety and his relationship with drake.
Very interesting to hear from him finally

Like this. I Feel It Coming is special. Everyone I've told about this today loved it, most were lukewarm on BBTM

 

House Of Balloons will probably always be my favorite but this is so incredibly consistent and just wonderful.

 

Honestly could see myself ranking this just below the Trilogy mixtapes or possibly even above Thursday which is my least favorite of the three... honestly didn't think he'd have a project on the level of the Trilogy again for me.

 

Just gave my first listen finally since I've been busy. It's amazing ah he'll always be one of my favorite moments. I must say though strangely enough more songs stood out to me on first listen of BBTM than this

I Feel It Coming is one of the best songs of the year god DAMN

 

This album is great but I actually felt like a few songs in the second half could have been trimmed, not sure exactly which ones I'd pick though. I don't know if I'd rank this above his older stuff yet but this is definitely a lot better than BBTM (which I still really like but has too much filler imo)

Same. Never expected to like this as much as I do.

 

Alright I wasn't super crazy about Secrets or True Colors at first so when I got to through those 2 I was like "Eh seems like this album might be a bit meh" but then Stargirl Interlude to the end of the album happened. Awesome album, happy to keep listening to it and glad I got back on it.

 

I'm laughing so hard right now... one of his best.
