I forgot how good the run of Love To Lay - Ordinary Life is on Starboy

Actually Nothing Without You should be a part of that too

 

For me it's House of Balloons and Coming Down. Coming Down took me like a few listens and then it CRASHED down on me with how good it was.

 

Kiss Land - Pretty - Tears In The Rain was always a really strong stretch to me

 

Sometimes I forget Kiss Land even exists, kind of like the equally Japanese influenced Wolverine movie.

 

The Zone - Birds pt. 1&2 - Gone - Rolling Stone is a wild run

 

Adaptation - Love in the Sky - Belong to the World is a great three song stretch. Too bad its followed by Live For

 

Guess I’m a tiny minority but Try Me, I Was Never There and Hurt You are super forgettable...I lose interest in all of these tracks before I make it even half way.

I do really love Privilege and think Wasted Times and Call My Name are really solid.

 

Coming Down is hands down my favorite Weeknd song.

 

I haven't got a chance to sit down and listen to this whole thing yet, but I did hear Hurt You and Call My Name. Holy shit, those two songs alone make up for Starboy.

 

Starboy was great, don't get the hate at all.

This is brilliant though. I hope there are more similar length EPs to come. I really love that Gesaffelstein production on I Was Never There but Call Out My Name is the best.

Will never understand the hate for Kiss Land, it's honestly right up there with the trilogy for me

 

Same, but it did take a while for it to get there. Live For will forever be trash though

 

Kiss Land is good and I enjoy it, but it doesn't come close to Trilogy.

They're all great though. I really hope his next album sounds like this.

 

my dumb self was listening to I was never there and I was like wait this synth sample sounds familiar.

I then remembered Gesaffelstein is on the track and that's the Send It Up synth slowed down.

 

that break skit was amaziing

 

friend brought up a good point, why is the type on the cover art set in the corner like that? perhaps to make room for the rest of the sentence w/future EPs

 

I dont think I can get over how Call Out My Name makes me feel. I can only imagine how I’d be if i was going through a heartbreak too with this out now lol

 

Yea this is reaching Trilogy levels of how much I like it, so happy
