Two Gesaffelstein credits is wild for a dude who worked with Max Martin on his last two albums. Ye worked with that dude on Yeezus, his production is incredible.

I can hear it! I'm on this one now and it's tied with "Wasted Times" as my favorite so far. This whole project has been awesome on first listen though.

 

The entire internet's going to be googling "Selena Gomez equestrian" after they hear track 3.

 

Sorry for the triple post (trilogy?), but my initial impression is that this is a stunning project. It's like he took the leveled-up production from his last album and applied it to his OG style, but thematically took on the Selena relationship to give the lyrics more weight than his traditional nihilism. 21min is perfect amount of time to just fucking loop this ish, and I hope that it gets extremely successful streaming numbers so we're not stuck with 19+ song albums.

 

Digging this alot, sounds like a combination of echoes of silence and starboy

 

Words can't describe how surprised and blown away I was with this. I've defended his pop era time and time again, but this sound from him is just so much... more.

 

Definitely, I'm glad he didn't just revert to his old lyrical style and actually applied the lyrical growth he attained over the past two albums to use.
