Is the consensus that there will be an extended re-issue of the vinyl? I'm holding off buying it.

Yeah I would say it's safe to assume a vinyl will eventually be released of the full album

He just added a bunch of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th dates in certain cities for the tour along with new cities.

This is where I’m at. Some of the lounge (idk what to call it) vibes are a brilliant change of pace, and I’m always astounded at Metro’s production on Given Up on Me.

Honestly kinda surprising to me due to not really feeling any buzz. Plus, Blinding Lights was a mega hit and nothing from this album is nearly like that

It's early 2025 and everything feels like shit and not in that sexy Weeknd way.

I don't care what does and does not get played on the radio but "open hearts" seems like the most obvious radio song to me. it's got that max martin stardust on it.

It would’ve done better numbers had he released it after the Brazil concert imo

the discourse prompted me to revisit the weeknd's (COVID-compliant!) halftime show, I think that was comparable quality to the Kendrick performance-wise, though the setlist was maybe a bit more diverse/inventive. the maze/hall of mirror stuff was endearingly goofy and strangely appropriate for the era

Album keeps growing on me. Think I’d say this new trilogy is better than the old one (HOB still #1 though)

I had my first great experience with this yesterday. For some reason it hit a lot harder doing my weekly food shop.

I think this trilogy is definitely better than the old one.

Yeah this trilogy is my favorite work of his. House of Balloons is incredible but I've never been as into Thursday or Echoes of Silence

I still prefer the original trilogy. House of Balloons and Echoes of Silence are two of my favourite records of all time

where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

HoB carries a lot of the strength in the original trilogy. This current one is spread fairly evenly.

Cry for Me is so good, very curious if it'll catch on a single, I could see it having a slow crawl up the charts

i haven't had a chance to revisit this album much, but i think that's probably my favorite/the one i come back to the most

^yep. Love the album and Cry for Me is the one I tend to turn on first when I don’t feel like listening to the whole thing.

I don't know if it's vocal manipulation or natural, but Lana kinda sounds like Lana and Ariana had a vocal baby, she sounds pretty cool. I can't think of her sounding like this before on another song
