I don't hear Trilogy at all but this is enjoyable enough that I'm on Enjoy the Show and have not felt the need to move on to something else.
IDK, I like the first few songs on this a lot but the middle is kind of a snooze. Just seems like a lot of stuff he's already done. Niagara Falls is kind of cool though. I'm on Drive, hope it closes stronger.
This goes firmly onto the same pile as most big pop albums now, sadly. Could have been good but there’s just SO much filler amongst the great stuff here.
Very funny that The Weeknd, who puts on one of my favorite live shows has Playboi Carti opening who was probably the worst set I’ve ever seen lmao
just finished. middle chunk is slightly forgettable, and this didn't have to be so long (and Society absolutely shouldn't have been cut from the main album), but there's a lot of good stuff here.
I grabbed the two bonus tracks, and the whole physical release which has some differences in tracks I guess, if anyone wants to DM me I can send in a bit
The Abyss on physical versions is without Lana, Runaway has different drum tracks, Red Terror is shorter (posting what I have read, didn't listen for myself yet)
there are two versions of Runaway? thought that was one of the physical/00XO exclusive bonus tracks, so i wasn't sure if you meant a different song had different drums
just looked up the physical version. there's light percussion on that whereas the digital deluxe version has no drums whatsoever
I put the tracks from the physical and the digital in the same playlist, and compared spectrals, every single song except Timeless is different between the two versions, some are different lengths, some have no transitions/etc, but they are all different versions
I think Hurry Up Tomorrow (title track) might be one of his best one first listen. Another closer that really shines
