I picked up a signed copy of the CD the other day. His signature is so bad, haha. Love the record, though, really excited to pick up the vinyl when it comes out.
It's very weird that he hasn't announced that stadium tour that he cancelled the arena tour for, I feel like if it was going to happen this summer it would have needed to be announced by now. Maybe he's gonna just drop the third album in the trilogy first? Also I still haven't even gotten my refund for the cancellation yet
Mine is in the mailbox waiting for me when I get home. I really like how A-list artists are doing these now. I have T-Swift, GaGa, and now The Weeknd's signature. For about $35 total. Not bad at all.
Yeah, it's really neat. I like that they go to indie record stores, too. Helps them out during what I'm sure has been a rough period.
Fuck. Is this album a masterpiece? Everything else he's made is inconsistent as fuck but this just won't stop being solid every listen
Highly doubt a new album or anything is on the way anytime soon, but a Deluxe Version with bonus tracks and remixes seems likely at some point
Safe bet would be a couple years for the third installment, guaranteed Abel’s gonna be touring for a couple years
I feel like Abel is not necessarily the guy who always makes the "smart" move... he could have toured the living shit out of After Hours and STILL done stadiums but instead he dropped a new album with barely any announcement. Take My Breath was the "single" but it was released as a loosie. I think he'll drop LP3 in this trilogy when he feels like it, and probably sooner than we think. Hell, I didn't even think Dawn FM would drop until Summer at the earliest.
This album is great though so now we'll get both After Hours and Dawn FM songs live which will be dope
take my breath was definitely dropped with the promise of a new album coming out soon, that feature about the dude who listened to his new music came out right before it dropped and that article claimed the album was basically done at the time.
been listening to this dude's discography properly for the first time. really like this one but man After Hours is really something special, kinda obsessed with it
I think After Hours is becoming one of my favorite albums of all time. Every single second of that album is incredible
maybe Dawn FM will be my Rosetta Stone for his back catalogue. Never got deep into his stuff save for a few of his top singles
