The Weeknd: After Hours

 

I'm set for the year with this album and Eternal Atake.

 

I need more time with it, but the album felt like too much of the same on first listen. I'm sure once I have it in the car I'll really get sucked in.

 

All the singles, Alone Again, and the last 40sec of Too Late are the standouts for me right now. Only songs I don't care much for are Snow Child and Repeat After Me. Need to sit with it more, but those are my first impressions.

 

Might actually be my AOTY so far as well, this or the Spanish Love Songs record

 

Projections have this bad boy at 400-425k album equivalent units.

Was just on Instagram Live playing unreleased stuff that sounded amazing too. Tease.

 

Kiss Land is so fucking good, I don't get why so many people rank it so low. The production is immaculate

Kissland was the tour we worked on with him, so it holds a special place for me, however it is probably the weakest. Still has some absolute monster tracks on it though
