The Weather Station - Ignorance (February 5, 2021)

Honestly had not heard of this project until "Robber," which is a stunning track. I've been meaning to go back and check the self-titled ever since. Looking forward to this.

 

Definitely do, it’s an incredible album.

 

Robber is insanely good.

 

All three of these singles are just unreal. Already bracing myself to see this in the top 10 on every major pub’s 2021 list.

This is very good. Took me a few listens to adjust to the new sound, despite loving "Robber" instantly and considering it one of her very best songs. But as a whole it's growing on me steadily.

(My vinyl pre-order came in a few days ago, which is how I've been listening to it so early.)

 

I discovered The Weather Station at a music festival a few years ago. Had no idea there was a thread for this but excited!

Had a feeling they were going to to toss a 9 on it, well deserved. Totally lives up to the insane hype I had from the singles. I can see this one lingering with me for the rest of the year.

 

The Story Behind Every Song On The Weather Station's New Album 'Ignorance'

 

This reminds me a lot of the US Girls album from last year, but with some more intricacies. Good shit.
