That middle section starting with that song is the best part of the album

 

Elegy for Elsabet is one of my fave songs in the world

 

The only bit of the Weakerthans discography that I don't love is "Without Mythologies." I've listened to that record hundreds of times and that song just never works for me.

 

One year for xmas I was too broke to buy my family anything nice so I bought a pack of plain shirts from walmart and painted shit on them. My dad's has his favourite lyrics from Pamphleteer:
How I don't know what I should do with my hands when I talk to you
How you don't know where you should look so you look at my hands

 

On the Tragically Hip's 'beautifully meaningful non-sequiturs'

 

Guess I have to check out the tragically hip

 

It baffles me sometimes when people don't know who The Hip are. I guess they are so quintissentially Canadian.

 

I've known about them for a while, just never heard anything by them

 

I get excited every time I see this thread bumped and keep getting let down. Le sigh.

 

Yeah Zac The Hip are a great indie rock band I think youd love them

 

I trust u and John k. Where should I start

 

Maybe World Container? Idk. You could start at the newest one and work backwards. They have a quite a few albums

 

Could just be lame and do the greatest hits. It's a great collection.
