I'll be honest, I've never listened to this band but I just picked up the coke bottle clear variant and I'm looking forward to my first listen
I've often wondered if they intentionally named the band "War on Drugs" to dissociate with the "psychedelia" tag. Either way, there's definitely that influence, but I wouldn't primarily define them by that aspect if I was introducing them to someone new.

This album gives me life. Sitting on an airplane crying because I have to spend yet another week away from my wife, but this album makes it a little better. Strangest Thing best song of all time.

That's how I felt at first traveling. I thought it was so awesome to see the country, but after a while, it takes its toll. I'm glad your run of traveling is almost done!
