Anyone watch the Coachella 2018 set stream for Play On Fest?

Under the Pressure is always a highlight but my god this version RIPPED.

 

Just popping in to say that I’m listening to this album this AM and damn, still so good.

Is there any info out there on the next album?

 

I put it on this morning too while making pancakes for the family.

Definitely paraphrasing here but he talked about it a little on his livestream a couple weeks ago. I believe he said they were still a few weeks out of finishing recording when the lockdown started, so that's pushed it back. I imagine they'll get back to it as soon as it's safe to do so but that doesn't make a timeline very apparent. Late 2021/2022 wouldn't surprise me.

Has anything been released recently? I’m a casual fan but I’ve played their last album loads.

 

When the lockdown began they played some snippets via Instagram of material they were working on. It sounded really promising. I would imagine they may be finished or just tinkering at this point but who knows if the will wait to release anything.

 

New live album, LIVE DRUGS, coming November 20th - not a single show, but 10 tracks compiled from "40 hard drives of recorded live shows" over 5 years and sequenced similarly to how a typical show would go:

 

love it, that version of "pain" rules. saw them at a small venue a few months after deeper understanding came out and it was truly magical

 

hope it's this version of "eyes to the wind" or something like it

hard to overstate how much that ABSOLUTELY RULES

 

Yess! Sounds very Slave Ambient. If this means the new album is around the corner I’m gonna freak out

 

hell yeah. plus you know the live video is only translating like 50% of how good it’ll be. most of their power comes from studio magic. i say that knowing their show has been one of my favorite concerts since moving to charlotte.
