Some big spoilers from the finale, copied for spoilthedead.com The episode is basically a chaotic battle with lots of gunfire, smoke, and possible explosions. Negan catches word about Rick gathering an army and heads to ASZ with his savior troops. Sasha and Eugene are also with him. It appears that Sasha may not be alive when they arrive. There are rumors that Michael Cudlitz came back to film for the finale. Most likely a flashback/ dream sequence involving Sasha's death. The junkyard group is also at ASZ and filming reports suggest that they do fire at Rick's group. It appears that they double cross our heroes and fight alongside Negan. The characters on the watch towers would duck down when they fired. Carol, Ezekiel, Shiva, other Kingdom people were all filming at Baggarly Way. They were riding horses and Carol was wearing the Kingdom armor. Looks like the Kingdom is traveling to ASZ to help. There was also some filming over on Baggarly Way that involved Carl, Enid, and Dianne. Ezekiel was also spotted in this area. Rick and Rosita are supposedly shot. Their injuries do not appear to be serious. Eugene tells Team Family they should surrender. He appears to be siding with the saviors. Eugene does not see Rosita get shot because Rosita was going to blow up Negan and Eugene before she was shot and was somewhere else. The heapsters sabotaged Rosita's explosive device which, if detonated, would have blown up Negan and Eugene. When she first sees Eugene, she is sad, but believes he is now on the enemy's side. Michonne was seen standing on a large crane high above the Brownstones. This appears to be a remix of the Andrea tower scene from the comics, only it will involve Michonne and a member of the junkyard group. There are rumors of a possible remix of the second line up scene from the comics. It appears that it will be much smaller and might only involve Rick and Carl. Negan may attempt to Lucille Carl, only to be saved - possibly by Shiva - when the Kingdom peoplearrive at the last second. Hilltop people eventually join in the battle when they arrive a little later. Saviors and the junkyard group were both witnessed retreating during filming. Negan was filmed in his truck with Simon and Dwight leaving ASZ. There were witness reports of Daryl shooting at the truck as it drove away. One witness believed they heard Rick shouting, "Daryl!" There was more gunfire and LOTS of smoke. The battle has been won and war has officially begun. Reports of speeches (possibly Ezekiel giving a victory speech), chanting, and cheering during filming. Looks like the end of the episode will be everyone (ASZ, Hilltop, Kingdom) rallying together, ready for all out war.
I could forgive the trash people if they were in the comics like this originally, but if this is what they came up with as an original idea for the show, that's pretty sad lol
Eh, it was a cool enough scene and was something new. Also that just means more deaths for the show so I'm all for it.
Can we please just get to see somebody turn? When was the last time we saw somebody bitten and turn? Merle?
'The Walking Dead' Fans Think They Spotted An Unforgivable Error | The Huffington Post I didn't notice the flying object. But looking at that video, looks like a bird to me. Too wobbly to be a plane.
Can we not post huge spoilers in here even under the tags? That literally took up my entire screen making it nearly impossible to scroll down. Those things easily get revealed on a phone without realizing it. Also this show is way more enjoyable when you just lower your expectations a little bit.
Ok you did get me there. But somebody that really matters? I think it's always gutwrenching/cool to see main characters turned. Not to mention the main staple threat in Zombie lore is turning...and that hasn't seemed like a viable threat in multiple seasons.
Obviously a bird even from watching someone's filmed off a tv grabs from my own phone. Typical Huffington milking an article off 4 tweets from idiots
Episode was okay. Enjoyable. Trash People were a little corny but I didn't mind them too much. I thought the least enjoyable part was the terrible CGI when Rick had the landfill backdrop behind him. I assume Daryl not telling Carol about Glenn and Abe means that when she does find out, she'll go back to her "normal", killing self. I enjoyed the break away from Negan too, honestly.
Same. The more I think about them the more I hate every minute of that junkyard. The whole Winston "battle" was so embarrassingly clunky too
I know I've asked this before, but thought I might get some kind of explanation from the show. Can someone please explain how the Saviors' point system works?
