I've always thought the scariest part of the zombie apocalypse would be the first few weeks or so after marshal law was initiated. There would be militarized neighborhoods, rogue infantry units mowing down people because they thought there were infected, or just because they wanted to be violent. Just imagine if Negan's group was an infantry unit, with fully functioning vehicles and weaponry/body armor. That would be terrifying. There was some of this in FEAR, but it only lasted a few episodes the military just kind of left. What I'm talking about is after the chain of command breaks down, but you still have infantry roaming around.
I was thinking more like Daryl tells the population of the Kingdom what's really going on, and they essentially tear apart this fantasy land Ezekiel built, finally making him show his real colors to everyone.
Oh haha, it got it now. Should be interesting next week. Do we think Rick smiled at someone he once met before, ie Carol, or just smiling because of the amount of people and weapons were right there in front of him?
He's smiling because he thinks he found the rest of his army. They have the numbers and weaponry that they need.
I heard this same theory on Bald Move's recap podcast and I don't see that what so ever. He's thinking to himself "These people will help me." Or, funny but not correct, he's putting on a fake smile to make nice since he's been fucked over recently.
Could be Gabriel. The person in the back seat had a hoodie up, and the assumed female leader (the one with the haircut), has a black hoodie on.
Good point. It has to be good ol Gabe. Otherwise why would Rick be smiling like an idiot? If he doesn't know anyone there, you should be happy you are surrounded and outnumbered by a group who looks like they want to end you just because they have guns.
Remember the booted person was watching Alexandria? Presumably that person saw Gabe since he's left completely alone during hours of watch.
One could only hope. Shane for certain would have been killed by Negan if the same series of events played out.
The first 2 seasons will always be my favorite due to Shane. He was such a good character and I thought brought the most tension.
Very true. I thought the guy he killed to save Carol was a turning point of him being able to kill when needed without going insane, but he's back to his same old BS even after he made a point to confess to Rick and crew like it was even an important thing to say.
Season two had some good tension/drama, but they stretched that out worse than any other season. I hated the farm so much.
