Yep. It was a really well done episode altogether. Suspenseful, major character deaths, emotional, surprise twist of who was still alive, Oscar choosing Rick's side...The list goes on. Idk who was responsible for that episode, but bring that guy back.
Never seen much of Jon Hamm (never had much desire to watch Mad Men) but after seeing him on Black Mirror I feel like you pretty much could've flipped a coin between him and JDM and been fine. I know I saw Hamm mentioned a lot before they casted Negan and I get it now lol
I have the last four episodes sitting on my DVR but I genuinely don't feel like watching them. I might be done with the show. Does anything seriously major happen? Would I be able to pick up after the break? (This is probably a question that sounds absurd for any other show, but feel like a majority of this show is filler as of late)
Same boat, I haven't watched them because I genuinely lost my interest in it. Plus I already know where the story is going this time around so that makes it worse.
Just read the summaries for episodes 5,6 and 7. Watch episode 8 as it leads directly into the theme of 7B
This is a show thread, but for the comic issue releasing tomorrow, a review stated that a character that is currently alive on the show will die. So that leaves Rick, Eugene, Michonne or Negan. (Maggie, Carl, Dwight, Aaron and Jesus are on the cover of future issues so they will be safe)
Can almost guarantee it will be Eugene. Not a direct spoiler to what you were talking about, but this Reddit post was damn sure interesting. https://www.reddit.com/r/thewalking...negan_really_changed/?st=iym6rvha&sh=38432f42
I would actually be surprised if it was Eugene. Currently in the comics he's the only one who knows about the people on the other end of that radio in Ohio. His story doesn't seem finished. Negan, however, seems primed to go. Based on the image posted in that Reddit link it seems like Kirkman might be trying to give Negan his final moments of redemption before biting it (perhaps by saving Rick and the other Alexandrians). Wouldn't mind it. Not a big fan of Negan in general.
Seems like there wasn't a major death in this issue afterall. Kirkman loves to mess with people and it's annoying.
That's good. I hate how hyping up deaths have become a thing. The best ones in the show/comics are ones we didn't see coming. I wish the media/people involved in the show would quit putting out news and articles about "you'll never guess who dies" or "3 deaths are coming in this weeks episode!"
So spoilers are out there for the rest of the season. In regards to Sasha (since I know there was conjecture about this before due to the fact that she's slated for another series now), it looks like she's getting Holly's death in the comics. I kind of figured that's where they were headed, though I feel bad for her getting that death. Sasha has become one of my favorite characters.
I just watched Triggerfinger which is an episode that never held much weight for me. Except for the fact that despite how Lori is viewed cause of her affair with Shane, she's actually is pretty straight up with Rick about everything. Even says he thinks it's his, and no matter what "it's still your baby." But then what I don't like is right after she she asks Rick "you'd kill the living to protect yours?" Which he answers "yeah," she starts whispering devil shit in his ear about Shane. Clearly influenced Rick to do it, and then once he did, she held it against him. It's like she redeemed herself and then pissed on the redemption paperwork.
