I'm curious has their 'point system' works. Do you think Negan told Simon to go act in his stead over at Hilltop, or is it possible that he is enjoying the power a bit too much and maybe embellishing his job?
Could be both. Who knows how many communities they are bullying so Negan could tell Simon to go, assuming it took place at the same time Negan was at Alexandria. Simon did want to claim he found the alcohol Gregory gave him and told the others to put it in the Negan truck. He may just go to other communities without asking and just makes sure to bring Negan something back so he doesn't ask any questions.
Has anyone read part 1 of the spoilers for the next episode? Rosita should of listened when Eugene said there would be a price to pay for making a bullet
Not that it was ever going to happen, but I was still hoping for Carl (Or Rick) to just take a swing with Lucille and see what happens. If Carl died and landed a blow to the back of Negan's head, I'd be right back on board
Gabriel had his best line of the series. Carl was pretty terrible, plot and acting wise. This episode was much better though. To be honest I am also getting a little bored of Negan. But I'm sure something exciting will happen next episode. One thing I found interesting was how quick Negan was to step behind one of his guys when Carl was pointing the gun at him. You also saw him (possibly for the first time?) have some kind of emotional reaction, in both instances to someone crying.
Yeah it's nice to see Gabriel actually sticking up for Rick and co. now. Do we know if that was Morgan w/ The Hilltop in tow showing up to Alexandria at the end of the episode?
Lol holy shit Gabriel's line was great. I also enjoyed seeing Negan seem genuinely guilty for making Carl cry over his eye. And also seemed to genuinely trying to cheer him up with the it looks cool/badass
Heard a cool theory that Heath was taken by the another group from the comic books. Apparently the ppp on the keycard we saw might be a huge hint. ppp refers to whispering in music. So there's your hint.
I wouldn't be surprised. Corey Hawkins is pretty busy and won't be able to appear on the show for a while.
On reddit someone posted a list of which actors supposedly appeared on set during the filming of each episode, and apparently Heath doesn't appear at all the rest of the season
Yeah he might get the Morgan treatment and disappear for a few seasons and then all of a sudden show up again.
Catching part of the marathon today. Tyrese just died. His death is very frustrating. Do we ever find out who or what is sliding the zombies up? I think two or three times they stumble on dead zombies that javelin been cut in half and/or limbs have been hacked off.
Ya they teased the Wolves for like an entire season before they actually showed up if you were paying close attention.
Been watching the season 7 part of the marathon today and now this is stuck in my head again. "We're on easy street And it feels so sweet 'Cause the world is 'bout a treat When you're on easy street And we're breaking out the good champagne We're sitting pretty on the gravy train And when we sing every sweet refrain repeats Right here on easy street"
I love that the promo clip there playing for it during the marathon is just clips of the past 7 episodes editted together with the narrative "On tonight's 90 episode mid season finale"
