It got me. I was really sad. And was "oh noooo Heath!!!!" And then I saw it had boobies and was relieved
There's a really sad story about their dad who was an Australian pro rugby player being estranged from the family when he chose to leave. Terrible things they do to families that religion
Negan is probably here for the long run. I don't think they would have signed JDM if he would only be here for a season and a half. I've also been seeing more Negan merchandise than Daryl. AMC will protect their cash cows.
Currently sitting at Nic & Norman's! Took just a couple of photos of Woodbury and Alexandria but it's getting dark so I decided to grab a bite to eat. Alexandria had a bunch of "no trespassing" signs up so I took photos from a distance, but still an awesome way to kill a night in Georgia by yourself!
Leah Remini did an incredibly open AMA yesterday regarding Scientology if y'all are interested. I am Leah Remini, Ask Me Anything about Scientology • /r/IAmA
I'm surprised that haven't tried to bump her off or anything. Besides being incredibly litigious, I hear they strongarm the members pretty hard and dig up all your deepest secrets under the guise of cleansing but in reality blackmail/collateral if you try to leave later. (This all may be covered in the AMA which I'll read in work break)
I forgot to mention that I at least thought it was cool that the last episode focused on a society of women and was centered around a female character. it's nice since so much of the Fandom are like you know... neckbeardy?
Maybe for the comic. I don't think the television show has a huge percentage of neckbeards fans, at least not compared to the comic.
Really?? Most of the people I know watch it is couples and girls. So maybe 60/40 female split. Ditto with Game Of Thrones. Actually may be 70/30 female friends to men watching for GOT
I guess it's probably all relative to the people surrounding you ay. Cause all my Darryl fanboys are my female friends that think he's a spunk haha. (Side note he's also my favourite and I also think he's dreamy. Although could do with a decent bath) Yeah needing more Carol at this moment. And Ezekiel was way to charismatic for a 3ep absence (unless the Tiger blew the budget for a couple weeks) I even miss the Easy Street song
That song was stuck in my head for like a week after, accidentally started singing it out loud at work. Got some odd looks.
Nice, glad you could make it down there. N&N's is super nice - loved the lighting, bar, and ceilings in that place.
[Breaking] "The Walking Dead" Lost Another Half Million Viewers - Bloody Disgusting! I'm disregarding the second part of this article because I already know how the first half of the season ends and am thus unconcerned with it. In case you are worried, NO they are not going to end the midseason finale with another infuriating cliffhanger. That part of the article is simply conjecture. I am interested in those dropping numbers though. Considering the rest of the season had already been filmed, I sure do hope it picks up quickly.
So basically people only want to tune in for the crazy wtf episodes and not the character/world building ones? Not surprised.
I'm happy to tune into the character/world building episodes- when they're done well. This season just hasn't been interesting for me, though I haven't seen the last two episodes that aired. The extended ep with Negan walking around Alexandria, that could've been condensed to about twenty minutes, was the last I saw. I'll catch up eventually.
Those numbers are alarming. Mainly because there is a total of a 7 million drop-off in viewership in just 5 or 6 weeks. That's significant. With the stupid mid-season break, I wouldn't be surprised if by February or March, that declining viewership increases dramatically.
I haven't tuned in for some episodes, but it's not because I think they won't be "crazy". It's more that I know an entire episode about Tara A) won't hold my interest B) won't involve any of the other characters at all C) probably won't even be relevant or important later... I understand that they are expanding the world and showing the all-female camp adds another bit of depth to The Saviors, making you hate them even more. But... with those three points I listed above, I wouldn't have regret just looking up an episode synopsis as opposed to watching the actual episode. I keep saying it, but if they would just address multiple stories through a single episode (even just two), it might help me get excited for each episode. When they leave you with a cliffhanger that you know they probably won't even return to for three or four episodes, it kills the anticipation.
They kind of exchanged looks with each other when Tara was explaining how they took out the group in the Satellite facility, and then later revealed that their community used to be elsewhere and they clashed with the Saviors. The Saviors, in order to punish them, executed every man and boy over the age of 10 (explains why there are no men there)...the women who were left decided one night to sneak out and start a new community away from the Saviors.
