Just seen the episode, was really good imo - everything was so peaceful! The music in particular was very calming, and Ezekiel too was a very relaxing character in the way he lead/communicated with others. Also i'd want to live at The Kingdom way more than Alexandria, Hilltop or The Saviors place (The Sanctuary, is it called?). My goal would be to pet the giant tiger lol.
Also very happy with Ezekiel. His right hand man is from Halt and Catch Fire, it's nice having some (intentional) humor in the show
I'm also pretty impressed with Shiva. There was one scene where she looked pretty off, but other than that she's pretty believable
Last night's episode was pretty good. I was glad to see more than doom-and-gloom from Morgan and Carol.
The place that was attacked by savages, overrun by zombies and is lead by Rick Grimes?! Does that place even have a tiger?! Sad! Also, I just remembered that a while back I had a dream I was in the line-up to get Lucille'd!!! I was next to Eugene and he was the one chosen (instead of on our knees we were sat on a couch lol), and the dream ended as soon as the first hit connected - it was HORRIBLE! One of the worst dreams i've had in a while
I'm interested to see what the next episode is like since they felt the need to switch them around so it wasn't so heavy and depressing haha
Dumb question, but I forget how far the characters have traveled....are they still generally near Atlanta?
If you search google for "The Walking Dead map"... I mostly found ones that cover the events of the comics (in great detail, some even showing every death). There's some obvious overlap, of course, so you could use them for the show to get a general hang of things, but the only map that's specifically for the show has only filming locations, and they're all in Georgia.
Not a fan of this episode at all. I hate Carol so I'm never going to enjoy an episode based on her. I like the tiger.
This made me lol at work. I dug it though. It made me like Morgan a ton more. Excited to see where his character goes. Ezekiel was fantastic too. I agree on Carol not being interesting anymore and her pushing everyone who wants to help away is getting old. The writers need to step it up with her or they should just kill her off.
I got bored during it, episodes that focus heavily on Morgan just don't hold my attention. Carole was pretty boring in it to.
I feel like he's the new "voice of reason" since....everyone who was has died lol. Those characters can be a little boring, but I think they are necessary.
meh, I don't think he's that reasonable. Plus he's not really helpful as a voice of reason if he's away from the rest of the group.
Damn, you got me lol. He tried to be the voice of reason last season, I just didn't agree with his reasoning lol. I think when everyone meets up again he will be. I think he'll be the one who brings Ezekiel to Rick instead of Jesus who does that in the comics. Speaking of Jesus, he needs to show up soon.
I hated Morgan forever and the fact that I didn't mind him at all tells me how tired I am of Carol lol. A full season of Ezekiel, Negan and Jesus is already a huge improvement over last season.
