I think it's insane that this is going to be the 1st episode of 7 instead of the finale of 6. These writers are trash. I hope everyone has it spoiled for them. I'm being a brat but they continuously have been dropping the ball.

 

they should've ended season 6 with the Lucille death then kicked off 7 with whatever left turn they have planned. That would've satisfied so much yet would've only been the tip of the iceberg for what was to come.

 

Yea. Assuming the spoiler is true, they should have done the first as the last moments. Then no one would expect the season opener to give a second part to it.

 

Ugh it's so frustrating to watch Andrea put that knife to the Governor's neck and then do absolutely nothing.

Agree with @Greg about splitting the potential spoilers up. Would have been a perfect way to make everyone happy.

 

Oh god I can just imagine it. Abraham bites it in the finale and everyone breathes a surprised sigh of relief like "wow they didn't kill Glenn after all, how about that" and then season seven premieres and it's a sudden horrified flurry of "wait OMG no!" That certainly would have resolved the "element of surprise" issues they were dealing with due to everyone expecting it to be Glenn because of the comics.

 

It honestly would have changed the entire finale and made it satisfying. We get a "conclusion", and they still have a huge bomb to drop in the season opener.

 

This scene just makes me mad at Daryl. Negan literally tells them a couple minutes prior to not try anything stupid and Daryl tries to be a hero, thus getting someone else killed. What an idiot. Wait until Negan leaves and then plan a counter attack.

 

It's an emotional reaction. It's stupid, yes, but it makes sense.

 

this would be fucking magnificent. feel like the virality of the premiere would be through the roof if that'd of been what happened

 

I feel pretty sad about it but this might be the end of the line for me.

 

Instead they apparently decided to give us s pointless cliff hanger and rush two moments back to back rather than letting them have time to breathe. This show sucks so bad now.

 

i will def watch the premiere, but i dont know if i can stick with it through the fucking slogs it hits during the middle. this show can be boring as shit sometimes.

 

So no 7th season for you because you already (supposedly) know what's going to happen?

Also kind of find it funny that it sees like every single person in this thread read the spoilers this time ha.

 

Lol none of us care at this point. If this was how they had ended the finale I would have been like all in again on this show. Too late though even though I like what they did.

I'm pretty sure JDM is going to be the only thing that keeps me watching. At least I don't know anything that happens in the comic books after this point. Cause the show pales in comparison lol.

 

i stayed away from spoilers because i had respect for the show. what they did to their viewers was despicable so i dont gaf anymore.

 

No I'm going to watch until I get really pissed and then I'm gone.

 

I'll continue watching no matter what. I'm too invested into some of the characters to just stop watching. Also it will be really hard for them to ruin Negan and the Whisperer arc.

 

Well they already completely ruined Negan's entrance so I can totally see them botching it all further

 

I'm trying to be optimistic. Though, I could actually see AMC dragging the All Out War arc for more than 1 season :/

 

First trailer for Season 7 on Friday.

 

I'm not expecting much but I'm hoping there will be new scenes of Carol and Morgan at the Kingdom. I won't be surprised if 90% of the trailer is Negan with Lucille

 

It'll just be different angles of them kneeling before Negan I bet haha

 

a year is a long time to kneel

 

They're probably ready for Lucille to do her work so they won't have to kneel anymore.
