Also, I know Michonne was leaving, but did they write her off? I don't even remember. She was at Oceanside with that strange dude.. did she leave on the boat with him?

 

I asked my partner this same thing because I couldn't remember and she said she left on the boat. Weird because I cannot remember it being that great a send off for a pivotal character.

 

I was under the impression she was going to come back later in the season a few episodes.

 

Ya those scenes were cool...but it lead to nothing, really. Eventually Beta got away and Mary (Gamma) goes back with Alexandria.

 

Just watched this latest ep and thought it was cool tbh, no real criticisms. What I don't get though was how Beta got underneath Alexandria? Were the tunnels already there or did they dig them???

 

I got vibe that they were building them.

 

Honestly the scenes with Beta were truly terrifying.

 

This latest ep was a good one.

 

I was actually really into that one.

 

I assume everyone has seen it now - the stuff with Daryl and the Grimes kids was really moving.
Still didn't really care for Carol, but appreciated her and Ezekiel getting some kind of closure.

Will be interesting to see what happens with the fire - I assume there is an enormous pile of walkers Alpha and the Whisperers somehow get through before they can get close to Daryl and Co

Negan kills Alpha

 

I’m on the second to last episode of season 8 and I gotta say I dont know if I’ve ever been as bored/confused about watching something. Some of my confusion stems from it not holding my attention. But like it seems like random people pop up or the characters are in a different situation from just the episode before and I am not following. One episode Negan is trapped with Gabriel, don’t even know how Gabriel got there. But then later he’s trapped with Rick, but wait! Wasn’t Rick just with Carl doing god knows what, shooting at some dude? Oh and now Carl wants to save that dude and what do you know Carl is dead. I have no idea what the hell Carol and Morgan are talking about/doing. Don’t remember how Negan even got separated from the Saviors. Weren’t they just having meetings? Didn’t Ricks group attack the compound but nothing came from that? Now Negan is in a car with Jadis while she has a gun on him. No wait, he’s tied down at the junkyard. And why did Simon kill all her people? Is Daryl still in this show? Seems like everyone got to be alone with Negan and nobody tried to kill him? I have no idea what is going on

 

It’s best to forget season 8 and 7

 

Season 8 is real bad. Angela Kang was the new showrunner as of S9 and it gets a lot better.

 

But it’s pretty boring and incomprehensible again.

 

Seasons 1,2,4,5 and 9 are good seasons

10 has been okay. Not as good as 9 but better than 7 and 8. First half wasn’t as good but I’ve liked the start of the 2nd half so far

 

See I feel like since it’s come back I’ve been so meh towards it. I think I Enjoyed the first part of the season.
