Twist: it is Rick Grimes’ last season, though it says nothing about Rick’s new sassy persona, Ricardo.
I said that weeks ago. Would not surprise me whatsoever with these hooligan writers to see him re-appear at mid-season finale or season finale.
Well...on that note... Pretty huge spoiler out there about Rick’s fate now. I’ll spoiler tag it, but, I doubt anyone really cares all that much at this point lol. NOPE. Rick doesn’t die. He has a close call on the bridge and everyone will think he’s dead, but he’s actually not. Then Jadis calls the chopper and Rick is lifted up and away to some mysterious destination, thereby saving him for later. There is a prevailing fan theory about the A & B thing being that A = Alive and B = Bitten. Rick is an A and this new community’s medical facility can take care of him. So COMIC SPOILER In the comics currently they’ve met a new group called the Commonwealth in Ohio. When the Alexandrians first meet up with them, they ask how many people their community has. The Commonwealth has over 50,000. People have jobs, they have movies, they have football games, they have been building the world Rick and everyone else down south has been talking about for years. All Rick and the gang had to do was go a little further north and they just kinda missed the boat. So my guess is that the Commonwealth is where they are airlifting TV Rick off to until the show is ready to tell that story and we reconnect with him.
LOLLLLL NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO . so glad i dropped out. this show is going to go forever and its going to be awful
He's ONE HUNDRED PERCENT going to appear again. Also his quote from Comic Con was 'my relationship with Rick Grimes is far from over.'
I am not surprised one bit. In fact, a think a lot of us called that (him being lifted out and not actually dying).
Another spoiler about the very end of the episode: After Rick gets lifted away we take one more very big time jump six years into the future. MORE COMIC SPOILERS Characters who play a big role in the Whisperer storyline are introduced here (Magna and crew). They’re trying to fight off a herd of walkers and struggling when they’re suddenly rescued by a stranger in a sheriff’s hat toting a shotgun. It’s Judith.
So Judith will take on Carl's role from the comics I guess. At least we won't get 8 episodes of everyone searching for Rick.
Well they had the clip of them at the end of last season, right? I figured we would have seen them by now.
I'd say mid-season finale. At least we'll see them this season since they were in the Season 9 trailer.
I’m actually really excited about a huge time jump. That and Rick leaving is basically a soft reset for the show.
I haven't seen this show in i don't know how many years but how the fuck old is Judith now that she's able to use a shotgun.
