No. In the comics Carol dies when they first get to the prison. She’s a completely different character and her daughter Sophia is still alive. Daryl’s not a character at all in the comics. Ezekiel and Michonne get together in the comics, but it doesn’t last long because of the Whisperers and their tendencies to put heads on spikes. Michonne and Rick never got together in the comics because they put Andrea and Rick together. Andrea was a completely different character in the comics and they basically split her character’s story in the show between Sasha and Michonne. Carol’s current story is sorta kinda Michonne’s story in the comics, but after the time jump you find out that Michonne had left Ezekiel and disappeared for a while to take over the fishing crew that came as a result of the new world rebuilding after Negan was imprisoned. Michonne also hooked up with Morgan before Morgan died (again, totally different in the show).
Yeah, when Michonne nailed down the Governor's genitals and spooned out his eye, you knew it was a little different.
I think this season is getting better with each episode...that's not saying much.. but I'm hopeful this show is making a turn for the better.
For someone who has pretty much despised the last three years of this show, I've been able to stomach the last two episodes.
I really liked this episode actually. Couldn't understand word Maggie and Daryl were saying to each other though. Even watched that part twice.
For some reason I did not expect Maggie to double down on being okay with the death penalty in this brave new world. Then again Miss "No exceptions" prooobably got what she deserved
I think the anticipation of seeing what will happen to Rick is helping me enjoy these episodes more than I would if I didn't know he was leaving. I want to see how it all develops (I think he will get taken by the helicopter as the "A" that trash lady needs to provide), and going by this show's track record of handling the big shocking moments i'm not so sure having Rick leave as this mid-season finale would have gone over well with me lol.
So 2 eps left, Rick must get the fatal blow tonight I assume? And then the whole next ep will be everybody sobbing while they drag out his death I can only assume lol
I like how Rick fell off his horse in the first episode and then he fell off a horse in this episode which may lead to his death.
Lol impaled, looking passed out and two herds like twenty feet away. But why start with logic now lol
Yeah, this was an OK episode. I think it's ridiculous that him falling off his horse is what will ultimately lead to his demise. Was so corny and unimaginative for someone like Rick.
