If you were to tell me in 2016 that we would be coming up to episode 13 of season 8 and the war with Negan is still going on I would have told you that you're crazy.

I'm really not interested in any more filler episodes that continue to drag this story out.

 

From what I've seen, there were no essential pieces that would have been lessened by making this story one season instead of two. First half: they are Negan's slaves and eventually revolt. Second half: all out war. Easy enough.

I stopped watching a while ago but jumped back in to see Carl's last episode and seriously didn't feel like I had missed anything.

 

Finish up the dreg that is S2 and then watch Season 3. 3 is pretty damn good and worth watching.

 

I can barely stomach The Walking Dead. I refuse to go back to FTWD.

 

FTWD S3 is up there with TWD S1 and S4, IMO

 

i refuse to give this franchise any more viewing time until they fix twd

 

I don't care about the end of this war, I just wanna know where the hell that helicopter comes from.

 

So Trash Lady has like, 100 opportunities to kill the leader of the group who just slaughtered everyone she knows but...doesn’t???

And Carol just happens to run up on the child at just the right moment?

Good god, this is lame.

 

Yeah, I feel asleep towards the end, where they were in the bar with Rick and Saviors, but I really have no interest in going back and catching up.

He should have, like 8000 times already. But for some reason, no.

 

i wonder if AMC is realizing just how many people are losing interested. Havent checked the numbers yet although I know they are lower. Everyone I know stopped watching mid last season.

 

The soap opera quality of the dialogue is so unbelievably bad. How do they get away with this lol

 

This is a tv show and not a documentary though

 

2nd half of this season has been a lot better than the first. Not as good as previous seasons but it's picking up. I think the downfall is people are expecting Negan to die and Rick to move on like the Governor and all before. Comic spoiler: He's not gonna. Not yet anyway.

 

Carl’s letter probably tells him not to kill Negan right.

 

Literally had no idea next Sunday was the finale. Good riddance.

 

I had no idea either. Second half has been way better than the first but still was zoning out yesterday lol.

I'm just glad this "uselessly stretched over 3 seasons" war is finally coming to an end in a week.

 

Crazy that Negan has already been around two seasons. I barely remember anything specific in that time. So much of this show just all runs together in a samey blur

 

is the war really ending?

 

He's been around 2 seasons, but we've heard about him for 3. It's just that the entire Season 7 almost led to nothing.

 

The previews for next week are calling it the end of the war

 

So what do we think will happen? Negan will get caught? Dwight will somehow save the day? Who's going to die?

 

it kinda has to end if morgan is going to fear and talks about the big war or whatever. man i hope they don't ruin fear too
