The things they do now that they believe hold weight with the audience either haven’t been built up to matter, or just aren’t relevant to the overall picture. Focusing on the trash queen who’s name I don’t know and her having to kill all her friends was the big climax, and I was like ok that looks cool, but can we please get on with the apparent “War” taking place?
Does anyone think Jadis might become Alpha? That's a theory I've heard. I think it would be a little ridiculous, but with this show these days, you never know.
Sooooooo lame and such a cop out way to introduce the character. Sounds perfect for the current state of this show.
Negan telling Rick he had failed as a leader and failed as a father, then the ep ending with that shot of Rick just standing alone was good imo. The more screentime for Simon the better too, guy is so damn entertaining even in a one-on-one conversation with someone. A very charismatic psycho!
This was the least laughable episode in probably two years. Although, the Enid segment was torture. But the rest of the episode was somewhat borderline decent. This show is always at its best when it centers around a small core of characters, and not 18 different characters from 4 different communities.
For those who know the comic books, how many stories/timelines does the show still have to get through? Has the comic book series even finished yet?
Yeah her dialogue with those women was so unbuyable. Took me out of the moment and required a few eyerolls. These situations would not play out like so.
No it’s ongoing. As of right now there’s like 2 fully fleshed out scenarios that have happened beyond where the show is.
With how the viewer count and reviews have plummeted, I don’t believe the show will go on for many more seasons. I’d say 3 more at the most.
Right, if the ratings continue like this, I highly doubt AMC will want to continue it through to the end of the comic books, and with the comics not even complete yet, pretty sure the series will end before they get close to the end of the comics
This was my thought too. Especially when she said she wanted to make something that was new, something that was theirs, like a canvas etc. Then she’s sitting there watching her people become literal death...and she was already seemingly playing fast and loose with sexual consent based on her past comments to Rick. I wouldn’t be surprised.
That was all really good I thought. And if they're gonna go way off from the comics like killing Carl, I'd be all for ending Negan and making Simon the main guy.
For the next episode they should just recast Negan with Andrew Lincoln and recast Rick with JDM. That would be good. I’d watch that.
I really think Carl going under the wing of Negan would’ve been a great storyline Agree with all on Simon. He’s fantastic. Hell get plenty more work post TWD
