Episode has been okay so far, but they hyped up this Carl thing and we've hardly gotten any time with him. I'm guessing the next 40 minutes are going to be Carl heavy.
kinda felt a little hard to invest in the carl parts with all that other stuff going on. episode felt all over the place, but really great scenes in the tunnel and the church. just glad they did it in one episode and didn't drag out him actually dying for 4-5 episodes.
also, i'm so sick of morgan. he disembowels a man with his bare hands but feels conflicted minutes later just because zeik says he doesnt have to do this. the little kid was lame. i remember so badly wanting morgan to come back and when he finally did hes one of my least favorite most frequently annoyed at characters
Morgan's should-I-kill-or-not is by far the most annoying character bullshit of any show I ever watched. How are we not 100% past this by now lol
Perhaps the most laughable moment of the entire series was Judith FINALLY crying after not possibly being able to comprehend what Carl was saying to her. Yet, she was completely silent the entire time in the sewer with guns/bombs going off and hasn’t made a peep all series long despite the group constantly being under extreme duress - or you know, just being a normal baby/toddler.
Watching the re-run right now and this even feels drawn out, regardless if I already know its Carl’s last episode.
hahahaha. I havent watched an episode since the tiger died. I tell my self each season this show is just getting worse and worse. Well I finally threw in the towel mid last season and havent looked back
Ep was good imo, but I've been a fan of Carl for a little while now so it was nice to see him get his ending - really enjoyed the opening with him spending time with Judith etc. on his last day. Can see why many would not like this ep, though that annoying saviour getting a stick to the throat makes it an A+ regardless lol
I didn’t feel anything tbh. It seemed a little cheesy at times. Or repeats of previous deaths. The last time I felt anything was Glenn easily.
I think the Carl/Rick/Michonne moments were great, and definitely made me sad, but the long line of goodbyes was a little corny, especially saddiq..."congratulations....youre stuck with us.." what the hell was that line lol
I’m not sure what the deal is with the White text names...do they think setting it up like a GRRM POV chapter will make the jumping around easier to digest? I do gotta admit I find Jadis much more intriguing of a character now that it’s just her and she dropped the facade with the talking and seemingly admitted she was just a weird artist loner before this all happened. That scene was extremely gross.
It's not like the episode did anything much different to even warrant that. Actually it was better than usual, just a weird choice with the text. Wasn't a bad episode. Glad the trash people are done and if Jadis is going to speak like a normal person she has potential I think lol
I thought the white text names were going to go through the people Carl wrote letters to, but that went out the window quickly. This episode had me rolling my eyes less than most from this season, so I guess that's good?
