lol yeah but my point was, we have known Maggie has been pregnant since Season 6, episode 5. We are now in Season 8 going on episode 2. I know that the general timeline of the TWD is pretty vague and has never been completely revealed, but, are we to believe that almost 2 seasons worth of show and drama and nonsense have passed and we haven't even progressed 2-3 months? lol
Season 3 episode 4 is when Lori dies giving birth and we come to find that she is pregnant somewhere around mid season 2 lol
Episode was good, not great. I had to suspend my disbelief a little over the fact that Rick or someone wouldn't just open fire on Negan as soon as he walked out in the first scene. I guess their objective is to work on eroding the Saviors trust in Negan? But didn't they explicitly say even in this episode that they only really have to kill one person? I like Rick basically telling Eugene to shut up. Even if he is playing some kind of long con I feel that the likely outcome is a painful death for him. This episode reinforced the fact that Alana Masterson is terrible. Comic readers, are there flash forwards in the source material? Can someone confirm without spoiling anything that they are actually going to lead to something?
So there’s a...pretty massive potential spoiler out there about the mid-season finale. It’s...surprising if true.
Pretty please link me with spoiler tags so I know whether or not I should recant my statement about being done completely.
This has probably been said but why is everyone so blasé about wasting bullets? That annoyed the hell out of me when we just spent a season watching our characters trying to construct an arsenal. And then they have Negan right there and don't kill him because....?? And Rick's speech about only needing to kill one person and then we see them kill a tonne of saviours. At this point, Rick's group have been worse to the Saviours than vice versa but the show still treats the groups as black and white without any moral ambiguity that would make this more interesting.
According to the timeline wiki, only 6 or 7 months pass between the Governor destroying the prison and Negan killing Glenn. I don't know where season 6 episode 5 takes place during those 6 or 7 months. I would assume that the war begins only a few weeks after Negan first appears.
Poor guys. They finally made it to a completely safe area with electricity and hot water and only got to really enjoy it for like two days. Haha.
