    The Velvet Teen is an indie rock band from northern California. Their driving force is Judah Nagler (vocals, guitar, keyboard, synths, programming) who, along with Josh Staples (bass; also known for The New Trust) and Casey Deitz (drums; also known for Peace'd Out), has kept the band going strong for all of these years. The band has released four LPs over the course of nearly two decades and they are currently signed to Top Shelf Records.
