Uhhhh maybe?

 

My girlfriend especially is a huge fan of the band so we had a really great time. There wasn't any new news as far as I could tell, Bert said they're hard at work on a new album but it's been known they're recording I believe. It was a great set though, the energy was amazing in the crowd and Bert's still got it imo.

 

I thought the Used killed it at Musink. I left right as they started playing I'm a Fake....does anyone know if that was their last song or if they had one more?
Everything they played was from Self Titled & In Love and Death which was awesome. Hadn't seen them live since 2004.

 

Only rumor I've heard is Tyler Glenn is singing on it.

Tyler's new solo album is actually really fantastic.

 

Totally agree, and Neon Tree's second album was pretty fun. But the solo one is great

 

I liked a couple of Neon Trees songs but in general I'm not a big fan of him.

Did they really play I'm a Fake? That is awesome, was always surprised that wasn't a staple for them. The last few years, except for the album anniversary tour, they ended with Box of Sharp Objects.

 

Yeah thats what I thought too, I was surprised when they played Box of Sharp Objects and kept playing more songs.

 

Oh, well then I don't know what to guess with what they ended with. Has to be something from their self titled though? Say Days Ago would be crazy cool.

 

Yeah, I'm excited to hear what the brew up with Justin in the band now.

 

Anyone like Artwork as much as I do? I remember not really digging it when it first came out. Then I listened again somewhere down the line and loved the album. I think the production threw me off a bit at first, but i like now. The album is such a sleeper.

 

I like it. It's my 3rd favorite Used album behind their first two records.

 

Artwork and ILAD are basically tied as my 2nd fave Used album. Love Artwork so much! I just love the mood of that album (I am shit with words so hopefully that makes sense lol).

 

That's pretty often compared to most of my favourite bands.

 

that's a very average time gap between albums.... haha

 

Those are all pretty short except for the latest gap.

 

Yeah, it's pretty normal. Like, for Blink-182, they used to be a 2 year album band.

They put the album out, tour on it for a year/year and a half, take a little break, write and record a new album, and then start the cycle over again.

However, I don't think The Used tour for a full year though or anything, which would make the gaps between albums feel a little bit longer because they're actually staying active for the whole 2 years. I might be wrong there though, as I don't follow them as closely as I used to.
