Lies for the Liars is such a great album. I watched a recording of the LFTL show on youtube and it was ....just kinda average. Like he did not (cannot?) sing Earthquake with the octave jump which gives it so much emotional power. They clearly don't play these songs very much and it's such a shame because there are so many great parts. I'll still spin the album (and Shallow Believer!!) though!
So this is leading up to Bad Bunny introducing them as the Super Bowl Half Time Show for 2027 at the end of his show right
I'm offended that you think anybody is even worthy of introducing the greatest rock band in the history of music The Used are too good for the Super Bowl, they should be the first band to play in space
i know this is far from chorus's favorite album by this band but i've been kinda having a moment with the canyon recently, think it's only aged better and better with each overproduced mess they put out since. its almost jarring hearing an album from this band thats doing so little to try and play to the middle and i respect the hell out of it
I still love The Canyon. I know people can't stand the production, but I wish they would attempt something that ambitious again.
Musically I love most of the Canyon. Unfortunately my ears don't enjoy listening to it cause it sounds like they recorded it from a cd to a cassette on a boombox
its production really isnt that bad lmao, and nowhere near enough to actively harm the songs. the new alexisonfire album is one of the best records of the decade and its prod job is worse its also vastly preferable to every feldman mix this band has had vulnerable onward which all sound like cheap plastic
The production on it somehow makes it sound extremely boring despite them trying to do the most musically they've pretty much ever done lol, it's sort of impressive
