So weird too cause if you look up Bert McCracken, all of the songs he's been featured on go there. I figured his solo album would just be that... I also think "robbietheused" makes sense with his current shouting about how The Used is the best band ever haha

I wonder what Quinn is up to these days. It's always such a bummer to me seeing musicians who get successful and pump out a few albums, and then they just kinda disappear and stop putting stuff out. Like, did the industry ruin writing music for them? Do they lose their passion? Was it just a hobby all along? Do they still write and record but just not release it? Anyway, that's just something I think about.

 

i think about it a lot too and i think that's why there are so many bands reuniting, because the passion came back but for a lot of band members that quit / got kicked out of their bands, they don't have a band to go back to and just say fuck it because they'll never be that successful again.

 

I have absolutely no expectations for this new batch of songs but it's got me nostalgic. Sound Effects And Overdramatics still absolutely beats ass, what a song

 

the song is ok. i'm just happy that Bert is finally getting to do something so poppy. he's such a huge Michael Jackson fan, so i think this project is going to lean into that realm quite a bit which should be fun to hear.

 

I would expect mostly just a poppier extension of Over And Over Again

 

the first used record was great but i can't stand his voice.

 

There is no way The Used have recorded a new song every day for the last 5 years
