Idk, I think they've tried a lot of different stuff after Artwork even if I don't like it all.

 

It makes me think I should revisit The Canyon as it felt like their most different back then

 

nothing as grabbed me like those first 4 albums did, ive liked stuff here and there, but honestly i don't remember any of it ya know?

 

When did Quinn leave? Is that when it started to go down hill?

 

He left after Imaginary Enemy so that was pretty much their lowest point and they've got better since then.

 

I like the majority of the Canyon unfortunately they made it sound like a bootleg cassette

 

Yeah that's Ross Robinson's style. It's hit or miss depending on who he works with

 

Yeah, The Canyon has some of their most inspired material covered in a layer of shit

 

The Canyon, while not my thing, was definitely very unique for the band. Heartwork is probably their best album since ILAD imo. That one felt like the band was firing on all cylinders.

 

Heartwork is good

 

Obvious Blase feels like it could've come off ILAD to me

 

how Blase wasn't a single just absolutely baffles me

 

I've actually grown to like the new one more than Heartwork but they're pretty close and I definitely like this version of the band more than anything else since Artwork.

 

Toxic Positivity was released at the perfect time in my life (and by perfect I mean when my life turned to total shit.)

 

Sounds like toxic negativity to me....

 

and the last 2 albums he did with them were just the used/feldy show and they were meh

 

I remember liking a few songs on Vulnerable, bonus tracks included, it just comprised of so much filler per usual

 

That's unexpected

 

Would be cool to see what he does on his own. I’ve always loved his vocals, so I’m excited to see what he tries. Definitely not something I was expecting.

 

I know he's wanted to do one for a long time, excited to hear it.

 

I wonder what sound he's going for.
