The Used have never been my go-to for lyrics but they write fun songs so I'm cool with it. This album has one of their best covers IMO. As always, I'm excited for more Used

Not bad. As usual, the lyrics are pretty awful.

 

I'll always give them a listen, since The Used is a top ten album for me, but damn sometimes it's wild to think their newer stuff are the same people who did this (I know Quinn and Branden were a big part of it but still, even Bert's melodies were so much better then):

Listening to Heartwork and I pretty easily like the 4 songs I skip on there (Blow Me through Hate This Song) more than the new one

 

New song is good, not my favorite. I think Fuck You is better. Normally I think The Used pick pretty bad singles, so I'm excited to hear the rest of the album
