Awesome! Bert’s screams sounded great at the end! Is that an electric kit the drummer is playing? This gets me so eager for that Rage tour we should’ve gotten last year :(

 

this is really fun. Bert sounds great in this.

Anytime I hear Bert live or on things like this, I always think about how much I hate Feldman's production on Bert's voice specifically. I'm not sure if it's just me, but it feels like Feldman touches Bert's voice a little too much at times. As much as I love the album, there's parts of Heartwork where Bert just sounds... weird to me

 

I still need to listen. Maybe by the next time i log in I'll have done so. Lol

New album "Oops! All Jepha!" coming out June 12th.

 

I guess the teaser from earlier this week was just for a piece of merch :/

 

I hope they play majority of Heartwork and not their first 2 records...hesitant to buy tickets because of this.

 

This will be big on hits.

 

I hope they play more than just Blow Me and Paradise Lost at least

 

Bert's apparently on a new 3OH!3 single that came out today

Their first demo CD was 2001, so maybe 2000 is just when they started jamming and shit.

 

Also kind of strange because just recently they had their 15 year anniversary tour in 2016

 

Dumb Luck put out their EP in 2000, and Jeph sang, but when Ashton left the band, Jeph took over bass but didn’t want to sing AND play bass, so they called up Bert to try out, and the rest is history. And then they put out their first demo in 2001 as Used.

I am not theusedfan.

Ending on a cover is weird, but okay. Maybe it works better in execution.

 

Sucks they only play 13 songs now and one is a cover. They could easily up that to 18/20 and bring out some deep cuts.

 

Besides not screaming, can Bert even not sing for too long an amount of time live? I feel like they've always had crazy short sets for a band that's been around this long

 

Lmao they're STILL doing the smells like teen spirit shit hahaha ha. They've been doing that for over a decade now

 

What a strange way to end the set as well.

 

When will they realize we just want to hear the new songs (besides The Canyon absolutely terrible record). They have overkilled their first 2 records live for years now. It's just disappointing at this point.
