I hate all those songs except Everything Must Go. That is the only song I love on that album. Everything else is alright to bad for me. I love their other albums (mostly) but just cannot get into New Again for some reason.
Yikes, not at all. For me personally New Again is tied with Tidal Wave for best TBS album and ATS/Living Things tied for best LP album.
The only reason I could fathom anyone even having New Again towards the top of their TBS list, let alone as their best is if it's the first thing you heard by them that got you into them.
I didn't listen to TAYF or WYWTB in highschool so I don't have the nostalgic going into them. I got onboard around Happiness Is and backtracked. New Again is one of their best with nostalgic glasses off for sure.
I think Flicker Fade, Stood a Chance, Beat Up Car and We Were Younger Then are fantastic songs, but I still like NA better as a whole. To be fair, I like all TBS albums really minus Louder Now.
Where You Want to Be got me into TBS. Different strokes! Anyway, no more TBS-talk in this thread for me!
I'm not sure if you can see but my profile picture is me crowd surfing at The Used's 15 anniversary tour with Bert screaming back at me. "I'm a Fake" came on and I couldn't resist. I've waited 10 years for a photographer to capture me in the air and it's one of my favorite memories to look back on.
That's so cool! I've only been captured by a photographer once, at a Refused show during their reunion tour, but it was nowhere near as cool as this one!
Haven't listened to that EP much. I think the fact that there's a 20 minutes track of noises turned me off.
I'm still so sad about the self-titled album show I went to.. Not having Branden and Quinn was such a huge let down too. I think it tainted that album's memory for me, which was my favourite ever album and the album that got me properly into music.
